Caisa is a Helsinki cultural center that emerges from the margins to champion inclusion through professional, curated art and culture, actively bringing underrepresented voices to the forefront and making Helsinki a richer, more diverse city for everyone.
As part of Helsinki's city cultural services, Caisa needed an identity that could stand out while staying firmly within the city brand. The result is an exciting and experimental visual language built on abstract geometric forms that feel irregular yet unified. The fluid line structures leave room for personal interpretation, free from fixed cultural references, creating space for difference and plurality. When combined, the elements form something new and enriching.
The varying angles and directions of the lines communicate dynamic movement and change, reflecting how identities and stories evolve and connect. The layered layout system allows the identity to shift between minimalist and expressive, adapting fluidly to Caisa's ever-changing program.
